You will not be able to complete the paper model in class today, please skip that part for now.
You should have the blue packet. Make sure you turn in your work by the end of class! Complete as much as you can. As long as the sub says that you are focused and working respectfully during class, you will not get marked down if you don't quite finish.
We talk a lot about DNA in this class, but what exactly is DNA, and how does it determine our traits?
Today we will study the structure and function of DNA (what it is made of, and how it works). By the end of class you should understand the main parts of the DNA molecule including the sugar-phosphate backbone and four bases A, G, T, and C.

If you finish early, please move on to the medium or spicy WebQuest!
