10/17: UPA DAY!

Today was UPA day!

At the end of each unit, students create a portfolio of all their work and learning from the unit. Using the UPA form below, students completed a reflection, a few content questions, and set goals for our next unit.

The first UPA is due on Friday 10/18. I will be out of the classroom for the PM half of the day for a district meeting, but I will return in the afternoon to collect UPAs from our classroom inbox, so remember to turn it in during class! Please see below for more instructions on how to complete the UPA.

UPA Instructions:

1. Read the rubric - see what you need to do in order to earn a 4!
2. The checklist of work is what you will need to gather and put in order to turn in. Work through the list, find each assessment, and make sure that each one is complete so that you earn credit! If you are missing any assignments, you can find them in the Biology drawer in class, or on this website.
3. Reflect on your learning targets from the unit. Choose one that you felt very confident about, and one that you struggled with (even just a little!) and reflect on what worked well for you and what you could have done differently.
4. On the back of the UPA, answer the content questions and set goals for yourself for Unit 2.
