12/11: Punnett Squares & Pedigrees

Welcome to Unit 3!

In our last unit of the semester, we will be learning all about genetics and inheritance. Today we will start by learning how to use Punnett Squares and Pedigrees to show how babies inherit traits from their parents. Take notes and practice making Punnett Squares using eye color as an example. What is your genotype??

Next we will learn about the Blue Fugates of Troublesome Creek, an amazing true story about a village of people with blue skin! We will use this story to practice using pedigrees. This packet is a graded assignment due on 12/13.
